Facts: An act to provide for revocation, suspension or refusal of kennel licenses. Changing the word "may" to "shall" is vital to the protection of dogs. The word "may" as it is now in the Dog Law leaves too much uncertainty.

Facts: This new legislation will give the state dog wardens authority to handle complaints and investigate and enforce laws relating to animal abuse within counties where no cruelty office exists.

Facts: Sets limits on the number of consecutive hours a dog can be tethered within a 24 hour period. The bill also adds language relating to proper shelter, weather protection, permissible types of chains and collars as well as requirements for potable water.
