Update:
The Zoning Board will render a final decision on Sam Esh's request
to relocate his dog kennel. The meeting will take place on
Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at 97 N Penryn Rd in Manheim.
Please let Helen know if you will be attending by Tuesday, May 2, 2006.
A zoning meeting for Penn Township was held on Mar. 11, 2006.
One item of business was a request by Sam Esh of Manheim for
a special exception to relocate a dog kennel on his property
at 383 Memorial Road, Manheim, for better lighting and ventilation.
This request was made pursuant to sections 201.3.9 and 435
pertaining to kennels, and was intended to fulfill zoning
board requirements for prior case #689.
After specific questioning by the Solicitor and the two attending
zoning board members, Esh was informed by them that no specific
plans were given to them regarding this relocation. He has a
"house trailer" but no specs were provided regarding
ventilation, lighting, entrances/exits, insulation, etc.
He was told to return better prepared with his request.
